The item is too small or too tight
We want your gear to fit comfortably, especially if you plan to wear layers underneath. If your item is too snug, you can easily exchange it for the next size up. Please ensure the tags are still attached and the item is unworn. Check our size guide on the product page to help select your replacement size!
The item is too large or too loose.
If your garment has a looser fit than you anticipated, we are happy to help you exchange it for a smaller size. Simply initiate a return within our 30-day window. If you are unsure which size to swap it for, reach out to our support team with your chest and waist measurements, and we’ll guide you
The color or texture doesn't look exactly like the photos
Because we use natural materials and specialized dyes, slight variations in texture, grain, and color are entirely normal—it's what makes your piece unique! Additionally, monitor settings can sometimes change how colors appear on screen. If the style simply doesn't suit you in person, you are welcome to return it for a refund or exchange.
The zipper is stuck, a snap broke, or the stitching is loose
We stand by the craftsmanship of our products and apologize for this inconvenience. If your item arrives with a hardware failure or manufacturing defect, please contact us immediately with a photo of the issue, we are here to assist with a quick resolution.
just changed my mind / I don't like how it looks on me.
No problem! We understand that sometimes an item just isn't exactly what you were looking for once you try it on. You can return any unworn, unwashed item with the original tags within 30 days for a refund. Please note that for 'change of mind' returns, the buyer is responsible for the return shipping postage.
I received the wrong item, size, or color.
We sincerely apologize for the mix-up in our warehouse! If you received an item different from what was on your order confirmation, please let us know immediately. We will send you a standard return shipping and ship the correct item out to you as quickly as possible at no extra charge.
I bought my Leatherick jacket on Amazon. Can I process my return directly through your website?
If you purchased your item through our Amazon storefront, your return must be processed directly through your Amazon account to comply with their return policies and ensure your refund is routed correctly. Simply go to your Amazon "Orders" page and select "Return or Replace Items" to get started.
I washed my leather waistcoat in the washing machine and it cracked or shrank. Can I get a refund or replacement?
Genuine leather requires specialized care and should never be put in a washing machine or dryer, as this will strip the natural oils and ruin the hide. Because this damage is the result of improper care rather than a manufacturing defect, we cannot accept returns or issue refunds for items damaged in the wash. Please refer to the care label inside your garment for proper cleaning instructions.
I am an international customer and need to return my item for a different size. Who pays for customs and return shipping?
For international returns and exchanges related to sizing or a change of mind, the buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs, as well as any applicable customs duties or taxes. We highly recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.
I missed my delivery and the package was sent back to you. Can I get a refund?
If a package is returned to us by the carrier due to an incorrect address provided at checkout, or because it was left unclaimed at the local depot, we can issue a refund for the item minus the original shipping costs. If you still want the item, we can reship it to you once the return postage is covered.
I bought my leather vest during a clearance or holiday sale. Is it eligible for a return?
Items purchased during standard promotional sales (like a sitewide discount) can be returned within our standard 30-day window. However, items marked as "Final Sale" or "Clearance" are heavily discounted and cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or defective.
I threw away the original shipping box. Can I send my waistcoat back in different packaging?
Yes, you can use your own packaging, provided it safely protects the leather or denim during transit. Please make sure the garment is folded carefully to avoid deep creases and use a secure, weather-proof mailing bag or box.
Do you offer store credit instead of a refund?
Yes! If you are returning an item and aren't quite ready to pick out a replacement, you can opt for store credit. Store credit is often processed immediately upon approval of your return, giving you faster access to funds for your next Leatherick purchase.
I just placed an order but realized I chose the wrong size. Can I change it?
We try to pack and ship orders as quickly as possible. If you need to change a size or cancel your order, please email support@leatherick.com immediately. If your order has not yet been processed by our dispatch team, we will happily make the change. If it has already shipped, you will need to wait until it arrives and process a standard exchange.
I wore my new biker vest on one short ride to test the fit. Can I still return it?
To be eligible for a return or exchange, all garments must be in the exact condition you received them—brand new, unworn, unwashed, and completely free of any odors (such as smoke, cologne, or exhaust). Items that show signs of being worn on the road (like stretched leather, dirt, or bug splatters) will not be accepted and will be returned to the buyer.
A snap broke on my waistcoat after 45 days. Is it still covered even though the 30-day window has passed?
While our standard return policy for refunds and sizing exchanges is 30 days, we stand by the durability of our biker gear. If you experience a hardware failure—like a snapped button, loose rivet, or broken zipper—shortly outside of this window, please reach out to us with photos of the issue. While we cannot offer a full refund, we are happy to look into repair option like offering partial store credit on a case-by-case basis.
What happens if the return package I send back to you gets lost in the mail?
If you are paying for your own return shipping, we highly recommend using a trackable shipping service and keeping your postage receipt until your refund is processed. We cannot issue refunds or exchanges for items we do not physically receive. If the package is lost by the courier you selected, you will need to file a claim directly with them.
Will you refund the original shipping costs I paid when I placed the order?
If you are returning an item because of a change of mind, a sizing issue, or because the style didn't suit you, the original shipping costs are non-refundable. Your refund will be for the cost of the garment only. If the return is due to an error on our end or a defective product, we will refund the shipping costs.
