HOW TO MEASURE

I like the waistcoat to wear, it feels good and looks good. Trouble is the leather lace ties on the side are crap. They look grey and keep snapping. I have had to replace them within a month. I have been a long time in posting this but I feel it should be known

Festival season will soon be upon us and there's no worse clothing than a bum bag, so I've got a waistcoat with nice deep pockets inside and out with one zipped inner pocket. Just what I need for all the stuff I want to carry around and plenty tough enough to sit on too.
The fit is what they call comfort, i.e. it's not tight, but that's a bonus with the laced sides providing a little ventilation which will be most welcome on a hot, sunny festival weekend.
The quality of the leather is fine but the eyelets for the laced sides are very poor quality and badly fitted.
First time I wore it the stitching failed at the bottom of the zipped inside pocket.
Overall, OK value but will need another £12 spent to buy new eyelets (56off), then get the current ones out and fot the new ones.

This is just what I wanted, and it's about the right size for me. I've yet to loosen the side laces to see how it fits over my bulkier riding jackets. Plus, I need to sew on all my patches, so we'll see how that goes!
